But, near the Alexan West Highland luxury apartments is Avanti Food and Beverage, home to seven restaurants making it easier for groups to decide where to eat.
Eateries range from several countries and fusions. Bixo Mexiterranean bites is Mediterranean recipes with a Mexican flair severed tapas style for sharing. Menu items include octopus, lobster paella, short ribs, Mallard duck mole, seared watermelon salad, pork belly and a few others. Have you ever tried Venezuelan food? Well, you have that option at Quiero Arepas. What are arepas? They are corn based flat bread that is formed into a patty grilled, baked, split open and stuffed with a variety of ingredients. They are an all-natural and gluten free food truck with a menu changing daily. Souk Shawarma offers flatbread sandwiches or bowls designed by you filled with rice, a variety of meats, handcrafted sauces and pickles. Or try the newest restaurant, Bamboo Sushi, a certified sustainable sourcing of fish, local grass fed, hormone free and free range Kolbe beef. Also Japanese is MiJo, an international noodle and rice joint. Their signature dish is hot fried chicken. Bowls are built to order.
For American food, try The Regional, which gets ingredients from Colorado farmers and ranchers. Menu items include Colorado green chili, fried chicken sandwich, fried trout sandwich, roast pork sandwich, heirloom tomato salad and Colorado greens salad. Desert items include hand pies, cookies and banana puddin’. And last but not least is Brava Pizzeria Della Strada, Neapolitan inspired pizza with local ingredients some coming from the chef’s own garden. The sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, goat cheese and even the flour all come from Colorado.
