Festival Season
Fall is almost here, which means cooler temps and lots of festivals! There are two festivals this weekend worth checking out near Alexan West Highland luxury apartments in Denver.
Adventure Fest at Denver Sculpture Park is only two miles away. This festival includes a beer garden, food trucks, a climbing wall, power yoga, acrobatic yoga, tiny home tours, field games a pool party, giveaways, gear demonstrations and more. Also listen to the sounds of live bluegrass and electronic music on two stages. Check out the camping village where you can test out hammocks, tents and tour camper vans. Play field games including cornhole, long jump, tug-of war, capture the flag and last man standing. Check out the skis, snowboards and winter gear. And when you get hungry, choose from Hey PB&J, Meatball, Basecamp Provisions, Basic Neads Pizza, The Bamboo Skewer, Ba-nom-A-Nom or OG Burgers food trucks. Brewers include Laguintas Brewing Company, Great Divide Brewing Company and Upslope Brewing Company.
A little further away is the Downtown Boulder Fall Fest featuring several tribute bands including Police tribute, Allman Brothers Band tribute, Matchbox 20/Goo Goo Dolls tribute, Rush tribute and B-52s tribute bands. Also, check out the handmade market with local artisans making things like jewelry, home goods, ceramics, leather and even salsas. There is a kids area featuring a fairy face painting booth, obstacle course, climbing wall, bounce house, jousting, hamster balls and more. The beer garden will have local beers from Avery Brewing Company and margaritas from the Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant. Food options are from Boulder Bowls, Falafel King, Fast Eddie’s Hot Dogs and McDevitt Taco Supply.
