What’s Happening: Denver
The Denver area is a great location if you’re looking for a community that is always active and provides a great deal of events for its residence to participate in. That’s why we at the Alexan West Highland luxury apartment community feel lucky that we are housed in this activity-rich area. We believe that it’s best for our residents and the residents of the greater Denver area to bring information on events and happenings that are worth getting out of your luxury apartment homes and interacting with the community for. We are announcing two events, one will have you getting fit with your community and the other is a chance to watch America’s pastime with your local MLB team.
Civic Center MOVES
This is your chance to enjoy free fitness classes through October 6th with Civic Center MOVES. Each day will bring a different type of workout. Monday’s 6pm-7pm is yoga with Fold Yoga at the Civic Center Park: Great Lawn. Tuesday’s 12:15pm-1pm is full body fitness with Pearl Street Fitness at the Civic Center Park: Broadway Terrace. Wednesdays 6:15am-7am (year-round) is fitness with The Free Fitness Tribe which location alternates between The Greek Theatre and the Capitol steps. Thursday 11am-12pm is Yoga Cross w/ The River and Fitness in the City at the Civic Center Park: Broadway Terrace. Finally, Thursday 6pm-7pm is Power Vinyasa Yoga with The River at the Civic Center Park: Great Lawn. All of these events are great for all levels of fitness and with the magical price of FREE, you can’t find a better deal anywhere! Colorado Rockies v. The Washington Nationals
Come out to Coors stadium from the 15th-17th to see your Colorado Rockies face the Washington Nationals. The games on the 15th and 16th start at 6:40pm, while the 17th game will be starting at 1:10pm. This is a great chance to enjoy the fun and excitement of a Major League Baseball game. As always, there will be food, beverages, and activities at the ballpark so bring all of your family and friends!
